Aqua-Zen: This is offered seasonally. Learn how to stretch, move and enjoy your body in the support of warm water, using classical yoga postures. This class is designed for soothing joint and muscle pain, as well as relieving stress.
Barre: Lift, lengthen and tone with this ballet-inspired workout! You will complete exercises at the barre as well as on a mat to target lower body, upper body and core. Alignment, balance and posture are all emphasized. No previous dance experience is necessary.
*Bootcamp: This high energy class is comprised of functional training, weights, cardio bursts, core work and so much more! 60 minute class.
*ELDOA: An innovative method of exercise focused on improving posture, relieving pain and improving the health, performance and longevity of a given joint or spinal segment. The postures are focused and intense but easy on the body. The more you participate in class, the more pain free you will become. Developed by world-renowned osteopath, Guy Voyer, his instructors are specially trained to teach his work.
Foam Roll/Stretch: Come and learn how foam rolling can be beneficial to your body! Part of this class is done with other stretching modalities such as balls, straps and blocks.
Fundamental Yoga: This class uses fundamental yoga poses that will emphasize alignment, breath, building core and increasing flexibility. Beginners are encouraged to attend.
Gentle Flow Yoga: Integrate your breath and movement to gain flexibility, strength and endurance. Amazingly, you will reconnect with your body, as you are skillfully guided to bring your energy and focus to each yoga pose. No yoga experience is required, simply a desire to renew a commitment to a personal balance.
*Nidra Yoga/Meditation: A relaxing experience with gong and crystal bowl sound healing. This sleep based meditation is done lying on the floor, supported by gentle props. A series of breath, body and awareness techniques combined with intention-setting, are designed to bring the body and mind into a deep state of being.
Pilates: Key movement principles such as core activation, breathing, and spinal mobility. Increase flexibility, strengthen from the core, and improve alignment so that our bodies function efficiently for other activities, including golf.
Pilates Ball: Uses the same basic principles of Pilates with the additional use of stability and Pilates balls. This class is done on the mat and is for all levels, but a basic understanding of the Pilates principles is helpful.
Pilates Fusion: During this class you will experience some traditional yoga poses along-side a great variety of Pilates based exercises. Much emphasis is put on the mind-body element and a student's ability to be in-touch with their own experience so they can work at the appropriate level of intensity.
*Pilates Group Equipment: Held in the Pilates studio. This full body workout is done on reformers, exo chairs and functional training equipment.
Seated Yoga: Start the exploration of yoga while comfortably seated in a chair, feet firmly planted on the earth. Using props such as chairs, blankets, blocks and straps enables a student to feel the proper alignment in the asanas (poses) and grow into more complex levels of the asanas. This class is designed for new students and those who might have movement issues that would otherwise limit them from trying yoga.
*Spin: High energy class, great for all levels of fitness. Work in different heart rate zones to burn calories efficiently while you enjoy a low impact workout.
*Spin and Abs: The best of both worlds! Interval spin class ending with an advanced core workout.
Sports Mobility: Perfect for those golfers and tennis players who want to improve the fluidity and power in their swing. By increasing joint range of motion with sport specific stretches as well as strengthening, you will feel and see the difference in your game almost immediately!
Strength & Balance: Improve your over-all body strength while improving your balance. This circuit class combines both of these increasingly important fitness elements. During this workout, you will use stability balls and balance disks along with additional tools you may not otherwise use in a traditional strength workout.
Tabata: This 30 minute express class is one of the most popular forms of high-intensity interval training (HIIT). It consists of eight rounds of ultra-high-intensity exercises in a specific 20-seconds-on, 10-seconds-off interval. Trust us, you won’t want this class to last longer!
Total Body Strength: This intermediate and high energy workout may use benches, free weights, tubing, and stability balls. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace and use the appropriate amount of resistance.
Traditional Yin: Unwind in this slow moving class where you will accomplish a deep stretch while practicing breathing techniques.
*TRX/HIIT: Bring your “A” game to this class. You will use TRX stations, Stroops functional training techniques and a whole lot of energy to complete this intermediate to advanced full body workout. Online registration required.
